Cranberry Orange Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. unsifted plain flour
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    2 large cartons Cool Whip
    2 medium apples, chopped
Preparation
    Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored.
    Gradually beat in sugar and vanilla.
    Fold in flour and baking powder.
    Fold in apples and nuts.
    Line 2 (9-inch) cake pans with foil, greased. Spread batter in pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Remove from pans by lifting foil.
    Cool.
