Anise-Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
3 c. all-purpose flour, divided
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
2 1/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
3 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. anise seed, crushed and divided
Preparation

Combine yeast and warm water in a 2-cup liquid measuring cup. Let stand 5 minutes.
Combine yeast mixture, whole what flour, 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, salt, butter and honey in a large mixing bowl.
Beat at low speed with an electric mixer until blended; beat at medium speed 2 minutes.
Stir in remaining 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
