Okra Pickle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 lb. small okra pods
1 qt. water
3 small hot peppers (if desired)
2 tsp. dill seed
1 pt. distilled white vinegar
1 c. salt
3 garlic cloves
Preparation

Pack okra firmly in hot sterilized jars.
Put a garlic clove in each jar.
Pour boiling brine in jars and seal.
Process in boiling water bath at simmering temperature about 180\u00b0 to 200\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Let ripen several weeks before opening.
