Ugly Duckling Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (2-layer size) pkg. yellow cake mix*
1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail
2 1/3 c. coconut flakes
2 eggs*
1/2 c. finely packed brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk

Preparation

*Or use pudding in the mix cake mix and 3 eggs; add 1/3 cup oil.
