Noodle And Cheese Casserole(Serves 4 To 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. broad egg noodles
    2 Tbsp. grated onion
    1/2 clove garlic, minced (optional)
    1 c. large curd cottage cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    dash of Tabasco sauce
    3/4 tsp. salt or to taste
    16 oz. can tomatoes (optional)
    1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles as directed on package; drain.
    Combine noodles and remaining ingredients, except Cheddar cheese.
    Mix lightly with a fork.
    Place in buttered casserole.
    Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
    Bake in moderate oven until bubbly and hot, about 25 minutes.
    Recipe may be doubled.
