Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters
    4 Tbsp. oyster liquor
    2 Tbsp. cream
    1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. melted butter
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter, stir in cracker crumbs.
    Put a thin layer in bottom of buttered, shallow baking dish.
    Cover with oysters, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Add 1/2 of oyster liquor and cream.
    Repeat and cover with remaining crumb mixture.
    Bake 20 minutes at 425\u00b0.
