Ingredients

1/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
dash of nutmeg
dash of cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
1 qt. vanilla ice cream
1/3 c. chopped pecans
1 baked pie shell or graham cracker crust
Preparation

Combine first 7 ingredients.
Bring just to a boil, stirring constantly.
Cool; beat in softened ice cream.
Add nuts.
Spread in pie shell and freeze until firm.
Garnish with whipped cream and nuts if desired.
