Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine or butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream margarine or butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition.
    Sift the flour and baking powder together.
    Add to the butter, sugar and egg mixture in four or five batches.
    Stir in the sour cream and vanilla.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Do not overcook.
    Cake should be moist.
    Cool cake in pan for 20 minutes.
    Then remove and wrap in foil for 24 hours. Freezes well.
