Biscuits(From The Parsonage Kitchen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. unsifted flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    about 1 c. milk
    butter or margarine
Preparation
    Note:
    Use enough milk to make a very soft, tacky dough, about one cup.
    Butter or margarine is used as needed for brushing tops of biscuits as they come from the oven.
