Cherry Devilicious Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1/2 c. cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. water
3 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Cream Crisco and 1 cup sugar until fluffy.
Add egg yolks 1 at a time, beating after each.
Stir in vanilla.
Sift together flour, cocoa, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with water; beat well after each addition.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form; gradually add 3/4 cup sugar; beat to stiff peaks.
Fold into batter.
Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool.
Cut into squares.
Top each serving with dollop of Cream Cheese Topper and warm Cherry Sauce.
