Tortilla Stack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter (margarine)
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    1 1/2 c. canned pitted ripe olives, sliced
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 corn tortillas, buttered
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Melt butter; add beef, onion and garlic.
    Cook to brown the meat; drain fat.
    Add tomato sauce, olives, chili powder, salt and pepper to meat mixture and stir well.
    In a 2-quart casserole dish, alternate layers of buttered tortillas with meat sauce mixture and 1 1/2 cups of cheese.
    Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese over top.
    Pour water at edge of casserole into bottom of dish.
    Cover and bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Uncover and let stand for 5 minutes, then cut into 4 wedges and serve.
