Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 13 oz pkg. caramels
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
    1 C. chopped pecans
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    In double boiler, melt caramels, milk and butter.
    Set aside. Mix cake as directed on pkg.
    Pour 1/2 of batter in 9 x 13 greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
