Pinto Beans With Sage-Garlic - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. olive oil
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 bay leaf
    2 c. cooked pinto beans
    1 tsp. dried sage
    splash of hot pepper sauce to taste
Preparation
    In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Then add garlic, peppers and bay leaf and saut until peppers are tender; do not brown garlic.
    Add beans, sage and hot pepper sauce and saut until heated through.
    Remove bay leaf and serve hot as an appetizer or side dish with garlic bread or warm, soft corn tortillas.
    Yield: 4 servings.
