Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread
    butter or margarine
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 1/2 c. shredded Longhorn cheese
    6 eggs, beaten
    2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Remove crust from bread; spread bread slices with butter. Place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish and set aside.
    Cook sausage until brown, stirring to crumble.
    Drain well.
