Chinese Sweet And Sour Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. dry white wine
3 Tbsp. wine vinegar
3 Tbsp. ketchup
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Combine sugar, soy sauce, wine, vinegar and ketchup in saucepan.
Bring to boil.
Dissolve cornstarch in water; add to sauce.
Cook over low heat, stirring until sauce has thickened. Yields 1 1/4 cups.
