Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 stalks broccoli
    1 carrot, cut small
    3 stalks celery
    1 qt. milk
    pinch of salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook broccoli, carrot and celery just to tender.
    Remove broccoli and set aside.
    Add milk to broccoli.
    Salt and thicken with 4 tablespoons of cornstarch.
    Put cut up broccoli back in soup.
