Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans pumpkin or 2 c. cooked pumpkin
4 c. sugar
1 c. corn oil
5 c. self-rising flour
4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 pkg. chopped dates
1 c. chopped pecans or more
Preparation

Mix together first 3 ingredients, beating well.
Mix dry ingredients together; add to first three.
Add chopped dates and pecans.
Grease five 1 pound coffee cans.
Fill half full; it will take all to do that.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
