Beer Batter Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    2/3 c. beer
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. oil or melted shortening
    1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut into serving pieces
    oil for deep frying
Preparation
    Combine eggs and beer.
    Gradually stir in flour, salt and 2 tablespoons of oil until batter is smooth.
    Dip chicken into batter.
    Heat oil in deep, heavy frying pan to 375\u00b0.
    Add chicken and fry for 15 to 20 minutes, until chicken is golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels and serve.
