Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. candy orange slices
1 c. chopped nuts
3 1/2 c. flour, sifted
4 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 (8 oz.) chopped dates
1 c. oleo
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 can shredded coconut
Preparation

Cut candy in small pieces.
Mix dates, candy, nuts and 1/2 cup flour; set aside.
Cream oleo with sugar; add eggs one at a time. Blend well.
Add buttermilk.
Fold in candy mixture.
Stir well and add coconut.
Place in a greased pan.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.
Leave in pan to cool.
