Cranberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. whole cranberries
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. granulated sugar
Preparation
Pick over and wash the berries carefully.
Place in saucepan with the boiling water.
Boil until all the berries have burst open, about 10 minutes.
Pour into sieve and mash through as much of the pulp as possible.
    Add the sugar.
Return to heat and bring slowly to full rolling boil, stirring constantly so that all the sugar is dissolved.
Boil until the mixture falls in a sheet from the spoon, about 5 minutes.
Pour at once into heat resistant glass dish.
    Chill until set.
Serve with meat, fish or poultry. Serves 6.
