Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium apples
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. seedless grapes, halved
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. raisins
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Core and dice apples to make about 4 cups. In a large bowl, sprinkle apples with lemon juice. Add celery, grapes, nuts and raisins. Combine mayonnaise, sugar and 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice. Spoon over apple mixture until well blended. Cover and chill. Serve on lettuce. Yields 8 servings.
