Potluck Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. red potatoes
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos, drained
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 clove garlic, smashed
    salt, pepper and onion salt
    1 lb. American cheese, cubed
    2 slices bread, cubed
    1/4 c. butter, melted
Preparation
    Place the potatoes in large saucepan.
    Cover with cold water for 15 minutes.
    Boil, drain and cut potatoes into cubes.
    In a 2 1/2-quart baking dish, buttered, add potatoes, onions and pimentos.
    Toss gently with salt, onion salt and cheese.
    Put cubed bread on top with grated cheese and 1/4 cup butter.
    Serve with biscuits, muffins or garlic bread, salad and pork chops or spareribs.
