Zucchini Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. thinly sliced zucchini pickles
    1 1/2 large garlic cloves
    1/3 c. salt
    2 qt. ice cubes
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    3 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Wash zucchini thoroughly using a vegetable brush and drain. Trim ends and slice 1/8 and 1/4-inch slices.
    Add onion, garlic and salt.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Cover with ice and let stand for 3 hours.
    Drain thoroughly and remove garlic cloves.
