Tessie'S Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. milk
    1/4 lb. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 pt. heavy cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 oz. Amaretto (optional)
    cinnamon
    1 c. rice
Preparation
    Bring first three ingredients to a boil.
    Add rice.
    Lower flame to simmer and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Beat together egg, cream, vanilla and Amaretto and add to the cooked rice.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Put into serving dish and let cool. Sprinkle with cinnamon and refrigerate.
