Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 stick butter or margarine
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk (1/2 sweet milk and 1/2 buttermilk)
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix Crisco, butter and sugar together; add eggs, one at a time.
Mix\tflour,\tbaking\tpowder\tand
salt together.
Add flour mixture
and
milk\talternately
with
butter
and sugar mixture. Add vanilla and beat.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours. Makes good layer cake (3 layers).
