Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. buttermilk
    sugar
Preparation
    Beat butter in a bowl for 30 seconds.
    Add 1 1/4 cups sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla; beat until fluffy.
    Add eggs; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl.
    Add to beaten mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown.
