Mom'S Cheese Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. creamed cottage cheese (works best, if larger curds be sure to cream)
    1 envelope Ranch Valley dressing (add milk type)
    1/4 c. fresh chopped parsley (optional)
    1/2 c. chopped ham
    1/2 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
    1 cherry
Preparation
    Blend cheeses.
    Mix in package of Ranch Valley dressing.
    Line a cookie sheet with Saran Wrap.
    Cover (smear) cookie sheet with mixture.
    Refrigerate for about 1 hour.
    Sprinkle ham (and parsley) over cold mixture.
    Roll up mixture pulling Saran Wrap away.
    Shape into ball.
    Press chopped nuts all over the ball. Put cherry on top.
    Serve with crackers.
