Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix the butter, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Stir in the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Chill about 1 hour.
    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
    Roll balls into the sugar and cinnamon.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned but still soft.
