California Frijole Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans
    2 (1 lb.) cans cut wax beans
    2 (15 oz.) jar marinated garbanzo beans
    1 thinly sliced large red onion
    3 avocados, peeled and sliced
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. red wine vinegar
    2/3 c. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. crushed dried basil leaves
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar, oil and salt.
    Combine beans in large bowl.
    Add other ingredients.
    Pour over bean mixture; toss to mix well.
    Cover.
    Chill for several hours.
    Toss again and drain before serving.
