Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef tenderloin or round steak
salt and pepper
1/3 c. chopped scallions
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
3 green peppers
1 c. Chinese cabbage
1 c. beef stock
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Cut beef in narrow strips.
Stir-fry until brown.
Add next 6 ingredients.
Cover with beef stock and simmer covered 10 minutes. Mix cornstarch and water.
Add to mixture and cook 10 minutes stirring until thick.
May be served with rice.
