Divinity - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
3/4 c. water
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Place sugar, corn syrup and water in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved, then cook without stirring to 255\u00b0. Remove from heat and pour, beating constantly, in a fine stream into stiffly beaten egg whites. Continue beating until mixture holds its shape and loses its gloss. Add vanilla and pecans. Drop quickly from tip of spoon onto waxed paper in individual peaks. Amount: Makes 8 dozen pieces.
