Cinnamon Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

medium or firm small tart apples
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/3 c. red cinnamon candies (red hots)
red food coloring
Preparation
-
Core and pare apples.
Cook
until
tender
in
a syrup made with the sugar, water, candies and
a
drop or two of red food coloring.
Chill and serve around meat or as a salad.
