Carrot-Potato Puree - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 oz. all-purpose potatoes, peeled and cubed
    6 oz. carrots, thinly sliced
    1/4 tsp. thyme, crumbled
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Simmer potatoes, carrots and thyme in large saucepan with water to cover for 10 minutes, until fork-tender.
    Drain.
