Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1/8 c. warm water
5 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in water.
Sift flour and sugar together.
Cut in shortening.
Stir in yeast mixture and buttermilk.
Roll out on floured board and cut into biscuits.
Brush with melted butter or cooking oil, if desired.
Dough will keep in refrigerator for few days.
Serves 4 dozen biscuits.
