Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium can beets (2 to 3 cooked beets)
    2 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar or to taste
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Refrigerate.
    Add hard-cooked eggs if desired.
