Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    2 c. plain flour
    1 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour 6 times before measuring.
    Cream sugar and Crisco until creamy and add eggs and flour alternately.
    Beat about 4 minutes.
    Then pour in a floured and greased tube pan.
    Place in cold oven and bake 1 1/4 hours at 325\u00b0.
    (Don't open door to oven for the first hour.)
