Never Fail Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. milk
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten lightly
Preparation
    Fill cup 2/3 full of milk, fill cup to top with shortening. Sift the 2 cups of flour with baking powder and salt.
    Add milk, shortening and egg beaten lightly.
    Toss on floured board and knead 20 times.
    Roll and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Bake 15 minutes in hot oven, 400\u00b0 to 450\u00b0.
    Makes 20 biscuits.
