Sweet-Sour Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 bacon slices
4 large onions
1/2 to 1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cider vinegar
2 (15 oz.) cans dried lima beans
1 (1 lb.) can green lima beans
1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans
1 (1 lb. 11 oz.) can New England-style baked beans, undrained
Preparation

Place onions (cut in rings) in skillet; add sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar.
Cook 20 minutes, covered.
Add onion mix to beans; add bacon (fried crisp, crumbled and drained). Pour into 3-quart casserole.
(Drain all beans except New England-style.)
Bake in moderate oven, 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Makes 12 servings.
