White Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Dry white Northern Beans (equal to 3 lb. Canned Northern Beans)
    5 1/4 c. chicken broth
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 large white onion, diced
    1 T pepper
    1 t. salt
    1 T. oregano
    1 T. ground cumin
    1/2 t. ground cloves
    1 - 7 oz. can diced green chilies
    5 c. diced chicken breasts
    1 3/4 c. chicken broth
    1 T diced jalapenos
Preparation
    If using dry beans, soak beans for 24 hours.
    In a crock pot combine beans, 5 1/4 c. broth, garlic, onion, and seasonings. Simmer covered at least 5 hours until beans are tender, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in chilies and chicken and remaining broth. Add jalapenos.
    Cover, simmer 1 hour.
