Sausage Pinwheels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour, add milk and stir to make a soft dough.
    Roll out on floured board to make a rectangle.
    Spread sausage on top.
    Roll from side to make a long roll.
    Cut into slices and place, cut side down, onto ungreased cookie sheet with sides.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
