Creek Bank Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bacon, divided
    8 potatoes, sliced
    1 lb. sliced Cheddar cheese
    1 sliced onion
Preparation
    Put 1 pound bacon in
    bottom
    of
    12-inch
    Dutch
    oven. Cover bacon with potato slices.
    Place
    cheese
    to cover potatoes. Layer onion on cheese.
    Cover with last pound of bacon. Cook 45 minutes with 12 coals on
    top
    and 10 coals on bottom. Drain off grease and serve.
