German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. potatoes
1 onion
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 lb. bacon
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar plus 2 tsp.
Preparation

Fry bacon.
Add vinegar and sugar to drippings.
Pour over cooked, peeled and sliced potatoes.
Heat in oven until warm, turning gently several times.
Just before serving, crumble cooked bacon over potatoes and heat about 5 minutes.
