Texas Hot Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. cooked ground beef, crumbled
    4 oz. thinly sliced onion
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    2 medium canned tomatoes with juice
    1 c. enriched, cooked rice
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    3/4 c. tomato puree
Preparation
    Combine beef, onion, green pepper and garlic in a large skillet.
    Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.
    Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
