Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. soda
3 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
1/3 c. lukewarm water (for yeast)
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening until thoroughly mixed.
Add buttermilk and yeast that has been dissolved in warm water.
Work together until mixed well.
Cover bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.
Roll 1/2-inch thick on floured board.
Cut and dip in melted butter or margarine.
Bake at 400\u00b0 or 425\u00b0, depending on your oven.
Makes about 4 dozen.
