Cinnamon Buns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. yeast
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. lukewarm water
1 c. scalded milk
6 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
7 c. flour
3 beaten eggs
6 Tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
cinnamon
1 c. raisins
nuts (optional)
Preparation

Mix yeast, 1 tablespoon sugar and warm water; set aside. Scald milk; add shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and salt.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add 2 cups flour to make a batter.
Add yeast mixture and beaten eggs; beat well.
Add 5 more cups flour or enough to make a soft dough.
Knead and place in greased bowl.
Cover and rise about 2 hours.
Roll about 1/4-inch and spread with melted butter, sugar and cinnamon; add nuts or raisins if desired.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
