Ricotta Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 1/4 oz.) yellow cake mix (the kind with pudding in it)
    2 lb. Ricotta cheese
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    12 oz. container Cool Whip
    2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
    Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
    In another bowl beat together until smooth the Ricotta cheese, vanilla, sugar and eggs. Pour over the cake.
    Place in a 350\u00b0 oven and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven and cool.
    Combine Cool Whip and almond extract; blend.
    Spread over cooled cake.
