Creamy Gelatin Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon or lime Jell-O
1 c. boiling water
1 (1 lb. 4 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. cottage cheese
1 c. whipped cream or Dream Whip whipped topping
1/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries
1/4 c. chopped, blanched almonds
Preparation

Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Drain pineapple, measuring 1/2 cup syrup. Add to gelatin. Chill until very thick. Fold in pineapple, cheese, whipped cream, cherries and almonds.
Pour into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Chill until firm.
Serve on a bed of lettuce.
