Ingredients

8 oz. chopped dates
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. rice crisped cereal
3/4 c. unsweetened shredded coconut
Preparation

Stir together dates, sugar, pecans and eggs in medium size saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring, 8 minutes or until thickened and beginning to simmer.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and cereal until combined.
Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
