Mrs. Stephen'S Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. boiling water
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/8 tsp. soda
    food coloring
Preparation
    Bring to boil sugar, syrup, water, vinegar and cream of tartar.
    Boil to crackly stage. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients, except food coloring.
    Stir well, then add food coloring.
    Pour over popped corn.
    Grease hands well with butter and form into balls.
