Quick Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 yeast cake
1 c. lukewarm water
6 to 7 c. sifted flour
4 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation

Scald milk, add sugar and salt.
Dissolve yeast in water and add to milk; add shortening and flour.
Knead well.
Place in greased bowl, cover and set in warm place to rise.
When dough is light, shape into rolls or round buns.
Bake in hot oven for about 20 minutes.
